Admittedly long overdue, this clean Scion was submitted to us a while back by Jody L. out of New Bern, North Carolina.  In the calamity of the day-to-day shuffle here at Stance East, it was set aside and buried in other junk, only to be unearthed after sifting through our mailbox looking for something else.

Rolling Deep

Jody’s Toaster is sitting nicely on a set of custom painted Diamond Racing wheels, rocking a beautifully polished stepped lip.  With an aggressive 15×8, 0 offset, and the wheels already fitting nicely, Jody took it one step further and added a 5mm spacer up front and a 10mm in the rear, effectively dipping into the realm of negative offsets.  With a bit of negative camber and some stretch, the wheel and tire combo poke nicely from the arches.

With the help of a set of fully custom coilovers, and custom fabricated camber plates,  the static stance is on point bringing the colourful sticker bombed front lip a little closer to its fate every time Jody hits the streets in his daily driver.  Sporting Toyota bB badges, Nia Auto Design eyelids, and a Yakima roof rack with a Steelhead bike rail and basket case, who says function and form can’t co-exist.

Solid Stance!

Looking forward, Jody hopes to treat his Box to a fresh coat of Polar White with white pearl paint, replace both front and rear bumpers with the JDM Toyota bB varieties, and at the same time add a bB rear hatch.   He is also looking to score a set of CCW Classics in 16×8 and 16×9.  In what offset you ask?  Well you’ll just have to wait and see.

Now I’m craving toast.
